About this time of year, we at CvilleWords start getting requests for ideas for children’s writing classes in the Charlottesville area. I’ve got a great one to tell you about this summer — A Tale to Tell: Fantasy Writing for Rising Fifth and Sixth Graders. The class will be held at WriterHouse Monday through Friday afternoons, June 21-25. It will be taught by a top-notch instructor, Carey Morton, formerly of Tandem Friends School. If you child is a friend of “mythic heroes, time-travel, shape-shifting, and various magical beasties,” then he or she will love this class.
