"Sir David Attenborough has revealed that he receives hate mail from viewers for failing to credit God in his documentaries."
I don't care what you believe — but leave Sir David alone!

"In another sign that literary criticism is losing its profile in newspapers, The Washington Post has decided to shutter the print version of Book World, its Sunday stand-alone book review section, and shift reviews to space inside two other sections of the paper."

The Attenborough thing is sad, but also funny.
As for the Washington Post, I am not at all surprised. The Sunday edition has become downright anemic in the past six months and, frankly quality has gone downhill.
Gary and I saved Book World to read together on Sundays, but I agree, every week I seemed to find less and less in it that interested me. I hear about so many books on line that by the time the print reviews roll around, they seem old to me.
What I prefer to see in print (magazines, book sections) are longer, more in-depth critical reviews of books.
