Why don’t you try it before you bash it? Dean Koontz said (to me) at this past year’s Book Expo America in Los Angeles, where I attended to sign my book under my other pseudonym, B. Erin Wylde, that he also detested the category of horror for his books. I decided that in my press release, I would be honest about the attributes my story contained. And guess what? You don’t have to wait for the romance -with a touch of comedy….it is already in there. Some of the individuals in my story are very humorous, and there is a romance in this story as well….just as in many other horror or fantasy, or whatever you want to call them novels.
Point is…don’t insult someone’s work until you at least try it!
