Movies: Jack Black Among the Lilliputians
'Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels may be in for an adaptation like none seen before. Variety reported that Twentieth Century Fox is "moving forward" with a "contemporary reimagining" of the oft-filmed classic, starring Jack Black and directed by Rob Letterman.'

I'm torn. I participate in a couple of promotional programs — Harper's and LibraryThing's. Harper's is the more purely promotional. LT merely asks you to submit a brief review, good, bad, or ugly. Reviewing increases your chances of getting books, but the kind of review apparently doesn't. Anyway, a trend to watch.
