Two new podcasts of the Charlottesville-Right Now show are available at Charlottesville Podcasting Network.
Ted Genoways, the editor of the award-winning Virginia Quarterly Review, joins Coy Barefoot to talk about the Summer 2008 issue. According to Genoways, “all of the pieces deal with outsiders and outcasts, and we’ve called it ‘No Way Home.’” In this interview, Genoways highlights the contributions of Natasha Tretheway, Tom Sleigh, and Dimiter Kenarov.
Dahlia Lithwick is a senior editor at Slate.com, where she writes “Supreme Court Dispatches.” She is also the legal correspondent for NPR’s Day to Day. Lithwick joins Coy Barefoot in the studio to discuss “the Supreme Court version of the Super Bowl” — the Justices’ 2008 decisions.
