Lots of excitement in town about the Festival of the Photograph. If we just could get a Festival of the Opera and a Festival of the Zither, I think we’d have all the art forms covered. (Just ignore my ravings, it’s the drugs talking.)
Now as you know, the two things nearest and dearest to my heart (after my CvilleWords readers, of course) are WriterHouse and Mr. Glass. So how happy am I that two great things are converging in a veritable galactic collision of artistic merit?
If you’ll scroll down to the bottom of this page, you’ll see that, starting tomorrow night, Mr. Glass’s photography will be exhibited at WriterHouse alongside that of Julie Coiner and Fred Schneider as an accompaniment to the Festival of the Photo. Open hours: 5-9p Thursday and Friday, 12-5p Saturday. This would be an excellent opportunity for the curious to learn more about WriterHouse as well.
