Summer Reading Series Kickoff with Jen Sorensen

Award-winning alternative political cartoonist Jen Sorensen, whose comic “Slowpoke” is featured in C-VILLE Weekly, will present a slideshow of her work, chat with readers, and sign copies of her new book, One Nation, Oh My God!
One Nation, Oh My God! collects Sorensen’s latest cartoons and commentary, covering everything from Gay Republican Guilt Camp to virtual donuts.
“Slowpoke” runs in many publications around the country, including the Village Voice and Funny Times, and has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Ms. Magazine, and The American Prospect.
