What a thrill! Last week I received an email from Trey Mitchell, webmaestro of the Book Festival site, inviting CvilleWords to be one of the Festival’s featured blogs. You can bet I jumped on the chance! I’ll be in good company, too — I know Wistar is participating, and I’ve heard there will be more local blogs on board as well.
I understand I have some friends in the blogosphere to thank for recommending CvilleWords to the Festival staff. A big kiss on the cheek to you!
I’ll be attending the Author’s Reception (swanky!) and previewing some books for the Science Writing: Life Cycles session. Mmm, I love me some science. Other than that, I plan to cram in as many great sessions as I possibly can. See you there?

We will be the best-dressed bloggers at the reception. By the way, I love your new masthead.
We’re happy to have you and Wistar on board. Catherine of Our Lady of Perfection [http://ourladyofperfection.blogspot.com/] and Brendan of the Beiderbecke Affair [http://beiderbecke.typepad.com/tba/2008/02/behind-everythi.html] will also be participating. Something will be up on the VA Book site about this effort later today.
