With mere hours to spare, I crossed the National Just Read More Novels Month finish line with Beginner’s Greek.
The truth is, I’m more than a little embarrassed. I managed to get through only one novel this whole month? And it’s January, one of our bleaker months and thus well suited for reading. I blame my habit of virtually hibernating through the long, bitter winters of Central Virginia. No matter what time of day, after a page, page and a half, my lids begin to droop. I’ll do better in the spring.
