Slowpoke is becoming one of my favorite comics, along with the ever-profane Lulu Eightball, right up there with This Modern World. Slowpoke’s author/artist is Jen Sorensen of Charlottesville. She’s given us a good one this week about John Edward’s hair.

Local author wins American Title III

Big news — Jenny Gardiner has won Romantic Times‘ American Title III contest with her novel, Sleeping with Ward Cleaver. Dorchester Publishing will issue her book in February 2008.
