Freedom Writer Summer Writing Camp
Attention Area Young Writers! Join with other Freedom Writers to create an awesome summer community experience of writing. We’re offering a mix of two and three week sessions and two one week sessions for back-to-school writing prep. Workshops start June 18th and run through August 9th. Ages 9-18. These workshops are being offered in partnership with Albemarle County Schools. It is the hope and goal of the CWC that scholarship funding will be available. Please help us meet this goal.
Adult Fiction and Poetry Classes Begin April 4

Both classes meet on 7 Wednesday evenings, 6:30-9:00, April 4-May 16. $225.00 Classes meet at Region Ten Meadowcreek Center, 2000 Michie Drive, off of Hydraulic Road (east of Rt 29). Call now to register: 434-293-3702.

Need to master the ABCs of writing that reflects critical thinking? Classes forming now.
Barnes and Noble Bookfair to Raise Money for Summer youth program.
Please shop Friday through Sunday March 16 through 18th Open mike reading with UVA faculty and students on Saturday the 17th noon-2 pm. All are welcome. Print out the vouchers and bring them with you to Barnes and Noble and buy books that weekend. (As in, get your Book Festival Books early.) A percentage of the receipts will support the Freedom Writers Scholarship Fund. Go to the CWC website (www.cvillewrites.org) to print out vouchers.
