Lucky me, I get a First Look at a new HarperCollins publication, 40 Days and 40 Nights, by Matthew Chapman.
Lucky me, I get a I’ve applied for a couple of First Look books in the past, but this is the first one I’ve “won.” I’m looking forward to it — I read Chapman’s Trials of the Monkey, a memoir about his quest to retrace the events of the Scopes Trial, a few years ago. Chapman is Charles Darwin’s great-great-grandson, so you might say he has a dog in this hunt.
I love how the jacket looks like a Chick Tract!
