The Ix Project is sponsoring a contest for writers, poets, painters, sculptors, playwrights, photographers, and filmmakers (yep, that should cover just about everybody). The theme is “Show us global warming through your eyes.” Deadline for submissions: 5:00 p.m., May 4. More details here (pdf).

The Charlottesville Writing Center website has been promising a new slate of adult fiction and poetry classes starting in March.
